Yesterday, I saw a family friend from Boston who was in town.
We were talking sports.
He asked me, “It is true that Sanchez is lazy?”
It’s unreal how one quote in the Daily News, that was misinterpreted, has smeared a hard-working player’s reputation.
Mark Sanchez is a tireless worker.
What the unnamed player in the Daily News clearly meant, was that Sanchez is competitively lazy, because the Jets haven’t allowed anyone to challenge him for his job (though that is about to change).
But it’s unfortunate that so many people think Sanchez is something he’s not – lazy.
