A lot of talk the Jets need a RB in FA, but what about . . . ? Dan Leberfeld

Bilal Powell, their fourth round pick last year out of Louisville?

What is he, chop liver?

Sometimes the answers are in the building.

I’m not saying the Jets shouldn’t add a running back in free agency or the draft (especially if Alabama RB Trent Richardson slips), but sometimes you have to faith in your own young players.

Don’t judge Powell by last year. He was a rookie, coming in during a lockout, so he had no spring to learn. And he really didn’t play enough to pass judgement on him.

The kid has ability.

Sometimes all people need is a chance.
