A lot of teams have kicked tires of Scott Wedige Dan Leberfeld

Florham Park – The Jets signed center Scott Wedige on Wednesday.

The former Northern Illinois center has had a few cups of coffee in the NFL.

He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Arizona Cardinals after the 2012 draft.

Then he spent time on the practice squads of the New York Giants and Cincinnati Bengals last season, before being signed to the Cardinals regular roster late last season.

He was released by the Cardinals earlier this week, and claimed on waivers by the Jets.

He is 6-4, 310 pounder who was a second-team All-American during his senior year at UNI.
