Cromartie-Revis – similar cover skills

When you compare the pure man-to-man cover skills of Antonio Cromartie and Darrelle Revis there isn’t much difference.
Revis is better in run support and when asked to play in a zone defense, but Cro’s ability to stay in a receiver’s hip pocket is tantamount to Revis.
Cromartie is a unique talent.
“His ball skills are God-given,” said Rex Ryan. “I’ve never seen any like it. He’s a rare guy.”
So if Revis holds out into the season, the Jets shouldn’t have a drop-off in coverage. Run support, that is a different story.
Cromartie had two picks in the morning practice.
