Harris didn’t understand why Scott was coming out of games Dan Leberfeld

Fellow inside linebacker David Harris was perplexed at how often the Jets took Bart Scott out of games last year.

“David Harris would ask Bart, ‘Why aren’t you out there?’ and Bart would say, ‘Talk to Rex,'” Scott’s agent Harold Lewis told Aaron Wilson of scout.com.

Lewis claims Scott’s trade request has nothing to do with his contract.

“It’s not about money,” Lewis told Wilson. “It’s about winning. If he wasn’t frustrated with losing, then shame on him. Do you want somebody content not being on the field? Bart cares. He wears his heart on his sleeve.”
