ESPN’s Herm Edwards on Sanchez

ESPN’s Herm Edwards with an interesting breakdown of Mark Sanchez –

“He’s a victim of his own success early. Young quarterback gets into the NFC championship game, plays in New York and is the next Joe Namath. We can say all that. I think it takes time to develop quarterbacks and he’s a second-year player. Sometimes your second year is your hardest year…I think he’s a guy that has great upside…This team was built to run the football and become play action football and play defense. When they get out of that mindset, it really puts Sanchez in a position where he’s not ready for it yet.”
