There is a story today stating the Jets have legitimate interest in free agent wide receiver Randy Moss.
There is a good chance the source of this story was Moss’ agent Joel Segal.
Perhaps he’s floating this rumor to scare the Patriots. It’s no secret Moss wants to go back to New England, and interest from the Jets might help get that deal done faster, once free agency is open for business.
With no off-season programs, chemistry is going to be an issue for any free agent wide receiver going to a new team.
So it’s probably in the Jets best interest to bring back their own – Santonio Holmes, Braylon Edwards and Brad Smith.
They are already on the same page with Mark Sanchez.
