Geno Smith needs to take ownership

We are hearing reports that Geno Smith fired his agents because he slipped in the draft.

We are hearing reports that Smith not going to the Senior Bowl was based on bad advice from his former agents.

We are hearing reports that Smith wasn’t happy that his agents left him in New York after the first day in the draft, to attend to other clients.

What is true, and what is false? I have no idea.

But the the bottom line is this – Smith needs to take ownership of slipping to the second round, and not blame anybody else (if he is in fact doing that). He needs to use it as motivation and work his tail off to fix his shortcomings.

This is on him now. He has a lot of work to do.
