Goodell on battle to sell tickets vs. great home-viewing experience

The NFL, and other sports leagues, have a battle on their hands.

The home-viewing experience is so great, it makes tickets sales a little more difficult.

What is Roger Goodell’s take on this?

“It’s an ongoing challenge,” Goodell said on Friday. “With the experiences at home through our broadcast partners, and all the other media alternatives, it’s an incredible experience and it will continue to get better as technology advances.

“What we have to say is let’s make the most important experience, and the best experience, which is our stadium experience, better. Technology in the stadiums is a big part of it. Making people feel safe when they are in our facilities is a critical component.

“But there is nothing like being in the stadium for an NFL game.”
