It’s time for the Jets to fix this!

The New York Jets are having major issues in this area on defense.

Talking about covering opposing tight ends.

The Jets are having a problem with tight ends sneaking off the line and being uncovered.

It happened twice in the first half against Miami.

In the first quarter, TE Adam Shaheen was wide open for a 4-yard TD pass.

In the second quarter, TE Durham Smythe was uncovered on another 4-yard TD pass.

The week before, on a fourth-and-one, Arizona tight end Darrell Daniels snuck off the line for a wide open 31-yard completion.

Jets defensive coordinator Gregg Williams and his assistants need to fix this.

Too many tight ends are flashing wide open against the Jets’ scheme.
