How do you pick a starting QB?

Jets offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg will be heavily involved in making the decision on who the Jets starting quarterback will be.

He has been involved in making this kind of decision before.

What goes into a big decision like this?

“There’s a lot of things that we’ll look for,” Mornhinweg said. “The quarterback, will be evaluated every day, every play, every practice. Normally is what happens is one man significantly removes himself from the other fellows. So, when that happens, there’ll be a time where we’ll make that call. The tougher one is when it’s very, very close and so we’ll be ready for that and then you go on some gut instincts there.”
