Hue Jackson to Jets possible

If the Jets part ways with offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer, former Oakland Raiders coach Hue Jackson could on their short list to replace him.

Jackson and Rex Ryan worked together in Baltimore in 2009.

Jackson has extensive experience as an offensive coordinator, holding the job in Washington and Oakland, along with some stops on the college circuit.

But the most pragmatic pick for the Jets offensive coordinator spot, if it opens up, is probably another former Raiders coach, Bill Callahan.

Callahan was the Jets offensive line coach the last four seasons.
