CB Donald Strickland (5-10/185/Colorado/Redwood City, CA) returns to the Jets after he spent the 2010 season with San Diego where he played all 16 games and recorded 16 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble and two passes defensed for a team that led the NFL in defense. It marked the second consecutive season that he contributed to a unit that led the NFL in overall defense. He spent 2009 with the Jets where he played in nine games with two starts and recorded 25 tackles, one forced fumble and four passes defensed. Strickland originally entered the NFL as a third-round selection of Indianapolis in 2003. He spent a portion of 2005 with Philadelphia and played for San Francisco from 2006-2008 before signing with the Jets as an unrestricted free agent on March 25, 2009.
