IR not a bad place to stash

Jets rookie WR Shaq Evans might end up on IR with a shoulder injury.

While injuries are never a positive thing, in a way, IR is a good place to stash this player for a year.

On the final cut-down, the Jets are going to have some very tough decisions to make at wide receiver, with the strong camps Greg Salas and Saalim Hakim are having.

Throw those guys into the mix with Eric Decker, Stephen Hill, David Nelson, Jeremy Kerley, Jalen Saunders and Jacoby Ford, and you can see why IR is a good place for the Jets to safely keep Evans for a year, without having to risk putting him on the practice squad, where he would likely be stolen.
