The St. Louis Rams are on the brink of hiring Brian Schottenheimer as their offensive coordinator.
“Brian Schottenheimer has been offered the St. Louis Rams offensive coordinator job and will accept the position on new coach Jeff Fisher’s staff, a league source said,” reported Mike Lombardi on NFL.com.
So it didn’t take long from Schottenheimer, who was reviled by so many Jets fans, to land a new job.
What gives?
Is Fisher misguided? Or perhaps Schottenheimer took too much of the blame for the Jets offensive woes. Maybe it was more the quarterback than the coordinator.
Only time will tell.
