Jets get break – likely no Troy P

Pittsburgh Steeler’s superstar safety Troy Polamalu isn’t likely to play on Sunday against the Jets. The announcement was made by Gerry Dulac, in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

“Troy Polamalu, who has made game-changing defensive plays in each of the past three games, is not expected to play Sunday against the New York Jets after aggravating his lower-leg injury on a 45-yard interception return for a touchdown against the Cincinnati Bengals,” wrote Dulac.

This is a big break for Mark Sanchez. Polamalu is great a disguising coverages and duping quarterbacks into bad throws.
