Jets giving back to Todd’s hometown of Elizabeth

*Over 4,000 students will begin a PLAY 60 program featuring Taneka Bowles, wife of Jets Head Coach, former Jet Tony Richardson, Flight Crew Cheerleaders and a special video from Head Coach Todd Bowles.

The New York Jets will kickoff their PLAY 60 program with over 4,000 fourth and fifth-grade students from Elizabeth Public Schools. Led by Taneka Bowles, wife of Elizabeth, N.J., native, Todd Bowles, students will be treated to a fun presentation introducing them to the PLAY 60 program. Participants will receive a Jets backpack and a game planner at their schools to track their fitness. Former Jets fullback Tony Richardson and Flight Crew Cheerleaders will also appear to discuss the importance of getting 60 minutes of activity every day. The presentation will feature a special video message from Coach Bowles encouraging students to take part in the program and strive to be their best. Top performing students from each grade will be entered in a drawing for tickets provided by Todd and Taneka to attend a Jets game this season.
