Jets LB hosting youth football camp in Minnesota Dan Leberfeld

*Minneapolis – New York Jets linebacker Blake Cashman, Minnesota Vikings linebacker Ryan Connelly and New York Giants linebacker Carter Coughlin will return to their roots and host a youth football camp on Saturday, June 26th, 2021 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm at Eden Prairie High School in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
The Eden Prairie natives and former Eagles will coach kids, ages 6-13, along with 11-time State Champion Head Coach, Mike Grant, the fundamentals of the game of football, and the importance of life- skills such as teamwork, communication and focus.
Participating campers will each receive an official camp t-shirt, lunch, an autograph from Blake, Ryan and Carter and an opportunity to take a photo with them.
Cashman, 6-1, 237, was selected by the Jets with the 157th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Minnesota. In 11 career games (6 starts) with the Jets, he has made 46 tackles including three quarterback hits and three tackles for loss.  Connelly, 6-2, 236, was selected by the New York Giants with the 143rd overall pick in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. In two seasons with the Giants and Vikings, he has made  26 tackles, two interceptions, two passes defensed, and one sack. Coughlin, 6-3, 236, was selected by the New York Giants with the 218th overall pick in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft. In 14 games (two starts), he made 17 tackles including two for losses and two quarterback hits during his rookie season.
