Florham Park – He’s their best player at the position, and the Jets need him to deal with Tampa Bay wide receiver DeSean Jackson.
The Jets best cornerback, Morris Claiborne, missed the Jets’ last game, a win over Buffalo, with a foot injury.
But watching him in the open part of practice, he looks like he could return this week. He was running and pivoting on the foot with seemingly no issue.
And that is huge for the Jets.
Claiborne is the Jets #1 cornerback, and would come in handy this week against Jackson, who has 4.35 speed, and can wreck a game for an opponent.
The Jets need Claiborne to play on Sunday.
And there is a chance he will.
