Jets passing offense needs to get six

In Buffalo’s win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 223-yards and two touchdowns.

This was versus the same Dolphins secondary the Jets could get little done against.

The Jets threw no touchdown passes in their recent loss to Miami (though there was a drop in the end zone). Buffalo was on the road against Miami, and the Jets were at home.

The Jets also threw no touchdown passes in their loss to New England and win over Pittsburgh.

So Gang Green has gone three games in a row with no touchdown passes.

Granted Mark Sanchez did play a lot better on Sunday in the Jets win over Pittsburgh, but three straight games with no touchdown passes, with the Jets weapons, is underwhelming.

So Sanchez, and his targets, need to do a better job scoring through the air.

That is pretty obvious.
