New York Jets Confidential

Jets release Toeaina Dan Leberfeld

The New York Jets have waived defensive end Simi Toeaina. The announcement was made by Jets General Manager Mike Tannenbaum.

Toeaina (DT/6-4/292/Oregon/San Francisco, CA) played four years for the University of Oregon after redshirting in 2005. He played in 21 games and recorded 14 tackles during his career with the Ducks.

Good luck to him in the future.
