The Jets have signed former University of Cincinnati standout offensive lineman Trevor Canfield. He had pretty good grades from scouts in last year’s draft.
Canfield (G/6-5/307/Cincinnati/Cincinnati, OH), originally entered the NFL as a seventh round selection (254 overall) by the Arizona Cardinals. He spent time on their practice squad until he was signed by the Seattle Seahawks. Canfield was signed with the Detroit Lions on April 19, 2010, until he was released on August 26, 2010.
