Jets sign Howard Green Dan Leberfeld

The Jets have signed veteran nose tackle Howard Green. The announcement was made by his agent, Albert Elias.

Green was with the Jets last year, but wasn’t re-signed this off-season for financial reasons.

He signed with the Washington Redskins, but was released on the final cut this summer.

This signing will allow the Jets to keep Mike DeVito at defensive end (for the most part).

He will take Kris Jenkins’ (IR-knee) ┬ároster spot.
