Jets still have golden chance to fill this need!

This story isn’t done being written . . .

Talking about the Jets need to add another wide receiver.

Aside from adding free agent Brett Perriman, let’s not forget this is a special wide receiver draft.

NFL.com’s Gil Brandt believes this is the best WR draft since 2004 (the Larry Fitzgerald class).

Baltimore Ravens GM Eric DeCosta also loves this class.

“There’s probably 25 draftable wideouts in this draft,” DeCosta said. “We think this year that there’s a really good chance to get a guy that can probably be a starter in the fifth round of the draft.”

So it’s quite possible the Jets grab a receiver with the 11th pick of the first, like one of the Alabama standouts featured on the latest cover of JC Magazine – Jerry Jeudy or Henry Ruggs III. Oklahoma’s CeeDee Lamb is also a possibility.

And even if the Jets don’t address receiver at 11, there’s plenty of talent after that. They could trade back in the first round, or grab one in the second round, like Arizona State’s Brandon Aiyuk, LSU’s Justin Jefferson, Colorado’s Levista Shenault Jr., Clemson’s Tee Higgins, Baylor’s Denzel Mims and Penn State’s K.J. Hamler. This WR class is loaded!

So don’t fret Jets fans, more help is likely on the way.
