Jets are 5-5, and still in good position to land a wild card spot.

But John Idzik, Rex Ryan and Woody Johnson need to figure out what they want.

Is this a year to develop players, or a year to go for the wild card?

Idzik seems to want it both ways, and it’s hard to make that work.

They need to have a high-level meeting and figure out what they want.

That power-that-be need to be honest with each other.

Do they want take an NFL Europe-approach, or do they want make a concerted effort to make the post-season?
