The Houston Texans released right tackle Eric Winston today.
The Texans made the move for cap reasons.
Winston is a good player, there is no question.
But keep one thing in mind – he’s GREAT with the press – always very cooperative and a terrific quote.
So that will lead some reporters to overrate him a little.
They love the guy.
He’s a solid player, but based on some of the reactions, you would think he’s Anthony Munoz.
And he has short arms, which isn’t ideal for an offensive tackle.
