Kris Jenkins is wrong about Sanchez’s attitude Dan Leberfeld
Kris Jenkins took some shots at Mark Sanchez on Showtime, including this comment – “He wanted to pose for magazines, worry about his haircuts and do all of that stuff.”
“I’m just saying, from what I saw him do, it was a lot better then what it is now. But he coasted. They coddled him. That was what was going on. This is a man’s profession. You have to man up at some point in time and take care.”
Once again, Jenkins is barking up the wrong tree.
The magazines and haircuts have nothing to do with Sanchez’s struggles.
One thing about Sanchez – he works very, very hard. He puts in very long hours trying to get better, whether it’s in the weight room, on the practice field or in the film room.
It just hasn’t worked out the last two years.
Sanchez is devastated by his demotion, and how poorly things have gone for him and the team this season.
For Jenkins to infer that Sanchez is more worried about magazine covers and haircuts, than football, is a gratuitous cheap shot, and not accurate.
