Mike Tannenbaum on Revis’ holdout Dan Leberfeld

“The line of communications have remained are open,” said Tannenbaum. “We have offered him a long-term deal to make him a Jets for life, a short-term deal and to get together and talk, but we were rebuffed on all three. He is not here and that is prerogative. Lack of communication hasn’t been a problem. I’m an eternal optimistic. We are in the last year of the collective bargaining agreement and that adds a level of complexity to this, but we are committed to getting this done. We are trying to solve the problem and come up with something that works for both sides. We have a fundamental disagreement on total compensation.”
