You hear all kinds of rumors about coaches and what will happen to them after the season.
You hear a lot of stuff from the NFL gossip writers about the futures of Mike Shanahan and Leslie Frazier, but nothing about the future of the head coach in Florham Park.
Why?
Because John Idzik keeps things very close to the vest.
“It’s hard to know what he’s thinking,” said a source close to the Jets.
So the Perez Hilton and Cindy Adams’ type writers in the NFL media world don’t have much or anything on Rex’s future.
And that is a good thing.
