Otah not staying Dan Leberfeld
The Jeff Otah trade to the Jets has been rescinded. The announcement was made by Manish Mehta.
“The Daily News has learned that the Jets won’t be keeping offensive tackle Jeff Otah,” wrote Mehta in the Daily News. “The Jets acquired Otah on a conditional basis in a trade with the Panthers last week. Per terms of the trade, Otah, who has played only four games during the past two seasons due to knee issues, needed to pass a physical within seven days of him reporting to the team. The Jets were going to give up a conditional seventh-round pick for Otah.”
