Owners don’t have to speak to media

It’s not written anywhere in the NFL bylaws that owners need to speak to the press.

Players, coaches, assistant coaches and general managers have to, but owners don’t.

Seattle Seahawks owner Paul Allen doesn’t.

The late Al Davis rarely did in Oakland. Same with the McCaskey family in Chicago.

As an NFL owner, it’s your right to just kick back, enjoy your team, and let the people you hire and pay big bucks handle the press.
