Q-and-A with underrated pass rushing prospect

Q)You see yourself as an Aldon Smith-type pass rusher. What is it that you like about his game?

Alvin “Bud” Dupree – Kentucky OLB – I just like how he turned the corner and how he uses his speed a lot. He’s an athletic guy, a guy that I see myself being like.

Q)Are you a better fit for 3-4 outside linebacker or 4-3 end?

Dupree: I’ve got a lot of film in the 3-point stance and standing up. I think any team can see that I can play both positions.

Q)How comfortable are you dropping back into coverage?

Dupree: I’m very comfortable. I got more comfortable this year by doing it a lot at practice, covering the slot.

Q)Did you do it more so this past year?

Dupree: Yes. I played inside linebacker from my sophomore year to my senior year.

Q)What is your playing weight?

Dupree: I played at 260-265. Even though I don’t look that big, my frame is athletic.
