Revis clearly deserves a new contract, but I think using Asomugha’s contract as a benchmark might be unfair. The Raider cornerback signed a three-year, $45.3 million deal last year. The Raiders are wired so differently, perhaps they shouldn’t be a measuring stick for anything. There is no other CB close to that Asomugha deal? What is wrong with Revis getting $13 million a year in a bad economy?
