Honestly, the relationship between the Jets and Giants could be better.
At the owner’s meeting, John Mara took a shot at the Jets for having a Tim Tebow presser, and Tom Coughlin jumped in with a salvo about the Jets’ reputation for trying to grab the front page.
“You know who won the Super Bowl, you know who the world champions are,” he said. “Whether we’re on the front page every day or not, it’s not that important. New Yorkers know.”
These two organizations just don’t like each other. There is no way around it.
