Revis one of the stars of ESPN ad campaign

ESPN’s new Monday Night Football advertising campaign debuts today with the first of three planned spots (video via Front Row; photos via ESPN Images). The initial spot includes Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and four current NFL players: Houston Texans running back Arian Foster, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy and New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis, who are seen doing various things – from an upside-down workout to reading a bedtime story – only to stop what they are doing to watch the MNF game. Jones even watches on the Cowboys Stadium’s signature Diamond Vision video board from his suite.

“With the new tagline ‘It All Comes Down to Monday Night’, this year’s campaign speaks to the notion that MNF is the one game each week that the entire league and its fans get to watch and that MNF is the official final word of the NFL week,” notes ESPN Marketing senior director Seth Ader, who is overseeing the campaign.
