Revis upset Jets went public

According to Yahoo’s Jason Cole, one reason Darrelle Revis is so upset with the Jets, is because the club went public with information about the contract talks.
“Revis believes the Jets have toyed with him by making their initial overtures so public,” wrote Cole. “If this had been done privately, Revis would have shown up for training camp even if a new contract hadn’t been agreed upon.”
Unlike the Revis’ camp, who have handled things so privately, with tremendous class and dignity.
