Rewarding bad behavior is a bad precedent

John Idzik is going to appear on “The Michael Kay Show,” one day after the host said on the air, “”Where’s John Idzik? For John Idzik to crawl under a rock and not talk to his fan base is unacceptable.”

This is rewarding bad behavior, and setting a poor precedent.

Basically, the message the Jets are sending is, “If you browbeat us, we will give you what you want.”

And that probably isn’t an ideal approach.

Just ask any parent.
