Rex and Schotty meet

Jets coach Rex Ryan wanted some answers about the team’s offense after the Baltimore loss.

“Schotty and I met about that,” Ryan said.

Clearly the passing game needs to get rolling, but the Jets also needs more opportunities to run the football.

“We are going to rotate [Shonn Greene and LaDainian Tomlinson],” Ryan said. “In some games, one of those guys is going to have more carries than the other. When we run the ball 21 times in a game, that isn’t who we are.”

Baltimore dominated the time of possession – almost 39 to 21 minutes, and that limited the Jets number of offensive plays.
