At rookie mini-camps there are always a number of tryout players, and one of them at Jets camp this year is Rutgers CB Mason Robinson.
He caught Rex Ryan’s attention today.
“He was playing some nickel, I like him,” Ryan said. “That’s pretty good for a little corner. The coaches at Rutgers said that no one at Rutgers wanted to fight this guy. Now we’ll have somebody that will fight him (joking), but that’s impressive. I like that Kevin Carty was his coach in high school, so he was bragging about (him), (he’s a) friend of mine.”
