That isn’t how it should work

Alabama cornerback Dee Milliner thinks the Jets’ interest in him might have increased after the team traded CB Darrelle Revis.

“I talked to them when I visited up there. They like me,” Milliner told the Star-Ledger. “They probably like me more now since they got rid of Revis.”

If that is true, it’s a mistake.

You don’t increase the value of a player due to a need.

You stick to your board, and if the corner is the highest rated player when you’re on the clock, then you pick him.
