The Jets have agreed to terms with WR Chad Schilens and QB Drew Stanton.
The announcement was made by Bruce Speight.
Schilens is a 6-4, 225-pound receiver out of San Diego State, who spent the first four seasons of his career with the Oakland Raiders. He was a seventh round pick of the Raiders in the 2008 draft.
Stanton, who is 6-3, 230, was the second-round pick of the Detroit Lions in the 2007 draft out of Michigan State. He spent the last five years with the Lions.
Both players have a lot of talent, but each has had trouble staying healthy.
