Now he’s reporting that the Jets will explore trading Mark Sanchez.

First of all, they can pick up some of the money, cutting the financial burden of the new team.
Another option is, if Sanchez wants to get out of here real bad, he reworks his deal, to help the Jets take less of a cap hit.
