Undrafted free agent defensive tackle Kerry Hyder (Texas Tech) has done a lot nice things for the Jets this summer.
While he’s not blessed with the best size at 6-2, 290, he makes up for it with a great motor and good hand-technique.
He’s also got impressive quickness for a defensive lineman, and in summer practices, he consistently burst into the backfield to disrupt plays.
He reminds me a lot of former Jets defensive lineman Marques Douglas.
While Hyder is likely a long shot for the regular roster, he’s got an excellent chance to make the Jets’ practice squad.
