It looks like the Jets signing of safety Yeremiah Bell was a smart move.
With LaRon Landry’s status unclear, Bell could end up starting next to Eric Smith, and he’s picking up the system fast.
“(I have) really been impressed with how Yeremiah Bell from day one stepped in, and obviously Eric’s (Smith) been a huge help there, but he stepped in and you would think he’s been running this defense for years,” Rex Ryan said. “So that’s really been impressive.”
