Jacksonville – He made news last week.
Jets safety Jamal Adam’s told WFAN a few days after the Jets loss in Cleveland, “We weren’t prepared for [Baker Mayfield].”
You can probably say the same thing about the Jets and the Jaguars’ Blake Bortles.
The Jacksonville QB, who was close to bust status a couple of years ago, completed 28-38 passes, for 388 yards, two touchdowns, and 114.8 QB rating, in the Jaguars’ blowout win over the Jets. He looked like Tom Brady on Sunday.
So clearly the Jets weren’t prepared for Blake Bortles.
And they had 10 days to prepare for him coming off a Thursday night game.
