You might not see it in the results, but the first-year head coach Aaron Glenn sees growth in his 0-5 team.
“I do know this, there’s some foundational things that I see us building right now that no one else see’s,” Glenn said in London on Friday.
Glenn clearly feels the early pain could lead to long-term success.
“There are things you have to do as a new head coach and being able to have a forward-thinking to see exactly where you’re going to go, and hell, if I knew we were going to be 0-5, I’d of been pissed early on and you would’ve [seen] that,” Glenn said.
But Glenn believes things are going to change soon.
“Everybody sees 0-5,” Glenn said. “But I do know this, that’s going to change, and the foundation is going to be stable, we’re going to start winning, and everything will be just fine. I do know that.”
So the man at the top is keeping a positive attitude through some rough times right now in Jets-land.
