Another reason why Zach Wilson should not play at New England

Healthy, or not healthy, it wouldn’t have been a good idea to start Zach Wilson at New England, if the Jets hope to trade him.

You probably don’t want the last film of Wilson, in a Jets uniform, being against Bill Belichick’s defense. Belichick’s tricky scheme historically has given him fits, and Wilson has played some of his worst games against the Patriots, like in the first matchup of this season, on September 24, a 15-10 New England win. You don’t want other teams seeing that, as their last cut-ups of him from the season, if you are trying to sell him.

In trade talks, sell suitors on the Houston game from December 10, a 30-6 Jets win, perhaps Wilson’s best game as a Jet, completing 27 of 36 passes for 301 yards and two touchdowns with a passer rating of 117.9.

Don’t provide any more film of Wilson playing against Belichick.
