Are the 49ers interested in trading for dismayed Jets CB Darrelle Revis?
According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, it’s a long shot.
A 49ers official texted “Mort” saying the team’s interest is “.001 on a scale of 1-10.”
So there is wiggle room.
If they aren’t interested at all in making a trade, the official should have texted Mortensen that the team interest is 0 percent.
It’s quite possible that the 49ers are using people in the media to scare the Jets into lowering their asking price.
