Troy – While the Jets are currently 6-2, one of their leaders, linebacker Bart Scott, feels they have a lot of work to do.
“We don’t want it to get down to the last minute of the game,” Scott said. “We’ve got to go back and work hard in practice. It shouldn’t be this difficult. This is a talented football team and we can’t beat ourselves. We can’t have all the penalties. I had the personal foul. I just just have to step back and not retaliate, because it’s the second person who always gets caught. We have to continue to grow as a football team. We have to keep try and establish and indentity and get better. It’s the same things, technique things. We can’t put [opponents] on short fields.”
