Yahoo’s Mike Silver quoted an unnamed person saying Bill Belichick “hates” Tim Tebow as a player.
This report really bothered Belichick, who shot down the premise today.
“Anyone to have represented that is the way I feel about Tim Tebow is completely untrue, baseless and irresponsible,” Belichick said. “It is unfortunate that something so inaccurate was reported.”
Belichick is very close to former Florida coach Urban Meyer, who had great success in Gainesville with Tebow as his quarterback.
It’s highly unlikely that Belichick would tell anybody he “hates” Tebow as a player.
